VIENNA, Va.--()--Mike Osredker, Tercon Consulting’s Director of Business Development and Global Marketing and Chair of The American Small Business Coalition’s (ASBC) Executive Committee, will lead the organization’s new Human Capital Working Group.
“This approach follows the model established several years ago by our Small Business Intelligence Community Working Group (SBINT), which has seen multiple successes in developing relationships and supporting the formation of winning teams with our small, medium and large business members”
Founded in 2004, The ASBC is an effective and engaging member-driven community of trusted individuals and organizations from government, industry and academia, located in the U.S. and abroad, with an exclusive focus on the development of actionable intelligence and key relationships to support the mission requirements of federal, state, and local government agencies. The ASBC membership community consists of small, medium and large companies, academic institutions and government organizations, who participate in formal and experience-based education, information-sharing and networking activities.
“The Human Capital Working Group, part of the Market Intelligence and Education Committee, will consist of firms operating in the training, facilitation, leadership development, coaching, and change management fields,” Osredker explained. “Our mission is to support information-gathering and relationship development that leads to direct and teaming-based business opportunities in support of human capital initiatives at federal, state and local agencies.
“We will engage officials from government and industry involved in supporting human resources management issues, initiatives of the Federal Chief Human Capital Officers Council, and other activities related to the Government’s selecting, developing, training, and managing a high-quality, productive workforce. Through speaker forums, monthly meetings, and regular roundtable discussions, we will learn more about upcoming agency and contractor needs and demonstrate the capabilities of ASBC members to address their people-related issues,” Osredker concluded.
“This approach follows the model established several years ago by our Small Business Intelligence Community Working Group (SBINT), which has seen multiple successes in developing relationships and supporting the formation of winning teams with our small, medium and large business members,” added Guy Timberlake, co-founder and chief visionary officer of The American Small Business Coalition. “The ASBC’s focus on creating access to information and relationships for the purpose of identifying, qualifying and capturing business in the government sector continues to be a key to our continued growth and our members’ continued success.”
