RigNet Names New Head of Strategic Business Development

HOUSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--RigNet, Inc., a leading global provider of managed communications solutions for the upstream oil and gas industry, announced today the appointment of John Bush to the position of manager – Strategic Business Development, which will be focused on extending the Company’s remote communications and collaborative applications to new geographic and vertical markets.

Reporting directly to Mark Slaughter, CEO and president, Mr. Bush will be pursuing long-range business development projects, particularly in attractive overseas markets where RigNet is underpenetrated or has no presence. Mr. Bush comes to RigNet with industry experience in the areas of circuit manufacturing, aerospace technologies, and software development. He holds a B.S. degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering, with a minor in Telecommunications Engineering, from Western Carolina University.
