LONDON--()--Tanla today announced the release of the first unique mobile application on the iPhone allowing the world to discover its singing ability in comparison to an original artist. Sing inTune (‘app’) takes existing music talent show formats and console games to another level, as the app tests a user’s ability to sing and compares the performance with the ‘original’ artist selected.
The inTune engine within the application can rate a voice against the original music track. The app will allow users to compare their voice against global artists from the 60's, 70's, 80's and 90's. Music Artists include; Christina Aguilera, Boy George, Tina Turner, Simon Le Bon and Suggs.
The app provides a score based on the users skill versus the original artist's pitch, scale, tempo, expression and note match. The app will then allow users to submit their score onto a global leader board held within the app and tweet the score to friends and followers thus maximising the exposure of a users performance worldwide. Tanla will also host the top 100 best scores on the official website www.sing-intune.com and follow users and support their best efforts via Facebook and Twitter.
The ‘Sing inTune’ app is the first release of Tanla’s patent pending InTune Voice Processing platform which in real time extracts, process’s, measures and evaluates singers. The InTune algorithm compares users along parameters like Pitch, Tempo, Voice Control and Note Match and produces a composite score relative to the original artist. The platform is available for use as an IVR service, through Web services and will be released on other mobile platforms including Android, Symbian and Java.
“Global audiences are gripped by music reality TV formats and music console games continue to evolve and cater to wider audiences. The InTune platform makes music auditions available to everyone and gives an individual the chance to test their singing ability, challenge friends and tell the world how good they are”, commented Gautam Sabharwal, Director Tanla Solutions Ltd.
