Provides iPhone Application Developers with an Easy In-App Link to Launch MobileNavigator

SAN FRANCISCO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--NAVIGON AG, the leading provider of mobile phone on-board navigation, today announced the availability of AppInteract, an open app interface for iPhone application developers. AppInteract provides a simple script that embeds a link into any app to launch NAVIGON’S MobileNavigator with a simple tap, and at the same time transfers an address to instantly deliver turn-by-turn directions.

AppInteract promotes the powerful model of communication between applications on the iPhone by offering developers an easy way to link and launch MobileNavigator as a premium navigation provider for their application. AppInteract meets the needs that countless location based app users face: great content is found such as restaurants, reviews or city guides, but these apps can’t provide instant turn-by-turn directions. With AppInteract developers can integrate a direct link to MobileNavigator, which provides directions to the found content, in just a tap. This way, users don’t have to remember and manually enter an address or point of interest into the NAVIGON app.
