Cantor Fitzgerald & Co. Adds Mike Johnson To Its Growing Capital Markets Business in the U.K.

LONDON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Cantor Fitzgerald Europe announced today that Mike Johnson is joining the firm as Head of European Leveraged Capital Markets. Mr. Johnson, who joins Cantor from Augusta & Co. where he was Managing Director, will be responsible for further expanding and strengthening Cantor’s Leveraged Finance business.

Mr. Johnson has over 20 years experience in investment banking in the US and Europe including loan, mezzanine and high yield capital markets in addition to significant distressed and restructuring experience. Most recently, he was a Managing Director at merchant bank Augusta & Co. Previously he was head of BNP Paribas’ London-based leveraged finance business, started DLJ’s investment banking business in Europe and was Head of Leveraged Finance at Credit Suisse First Boston in New York.

Mr. Johnson was formerly a British Army officer and holds a BA from Oxford University in Philosophy, Politics and Economics and an MBA from Columbia Business School.
