TORRANCE, Calif.--()--PC Mall, Inc. (NASDAQ:MALL), a leading provider of IT hardware, software and solutions, today announced that Jim Garrity has joined its SARCOM subsidiary as President. Jim is a veteran in the information technology channel who most recently served as COO of SECNAP® Network Security. Prior to joining SECNAP, Jim served as President of MoreDirect, a direct marketer of IT products to larger corporations and a subsidiary of PC Connection. He joined MoreDirect in 1999 as Vice President of Sales and was promoted to President in late 2004, driving company revenues to over $500 million. Jim started his career in the IT industry with Ingram Micro, a broad-line distributor of IT products.
Robert Rich, who has served as the President of SARCOM since 2007, will now devote his time to PC Mall’s onSale and MacMall businesses, and accordingly has been appointed as Co-President of MacMall/onSale where he will work alongside Dan DeVries. Both Rob and Dan will be tasked with the leadership and growth of the MacMall and onSale businesses, and will co-manage the strategy and day to day operations. Rob joined a PC Mall subsidiary in 2004 in an executive capacity. Prior to joining PC Mall he worked at Dell in consumer marketing.
