NEW YORK--()--Josh Rehrer has been named Business Wire's regional vice president, mid-Atlantic region, a territory that includes the Washington, D.C., Philadelphia, and Charlotte offices, it was announced today by Gregg Castano, the company's president.

The region holds enormous growth potential, including building upon its fast-growing Public Policy division, which registered impressive double-digit revenue gains in 2009.

Rehrer joined Business Wire in 1999 as an account executive in its Phoenix office. He transferred to the Washington office in 2002, and was named district manager in 2004. He was appointed director, mid-Atlantic sales in 2007, and was promoted to vice president, mid-Atlantic sales, in February 2009.
An alumnus of Penn State University, Rehrer lives in Arlington, Virginia, with his wife, Meredith, and their new born son, Gavin.
