Evola and Keith Keller and Director Matthew W. Douthit to its Corporate Finance Consulting segment. All three professionals join Duff & Phelps from Huron Consulting Group.

Evola joins the Washington, D.C. Metro office with integrated skills in accounting advisory and complex financial instruments valuations for illiquid investments. During his tenure at Huron, he served as a co-leader of the financial services practice and provided accounting advisory, valuation and due diligence services for public and private corporations and their external counsel. Previously, Evola led various accounting policy functions at Credit Suisse and Freddie Mac. Earlier in his career, he was an auditor at Coopers & Lybrand, covering banks, asset management firms and derivative companies.
In the Atlanta office, Keller serves clients in the areas of governance, risk management and compliance practices, focusing on alternative investments and risk policies. At Huron, Keller served as a managing director, the national leader for corporate governance advisory services and a co-leader of the financial services practice. Keller provided regulatory compliance, operating effectiveness, process improvement and risk management services to large financial service organizations and pension funds. Previously, Keller was deputy chief auditor and senior vice president for Wachovia and a partner with risk consulting services for Arthur Andersen and Deloitte & Touche LLP.
Douthit also joins the Washington, D.C. Metro office, providing deep valuation and risk control skills for complex illiquid investments. At Huron, Douthit’s responsibilities included providing valuation and due diligence services for structured credit products. Previously, Douthit led the middle office at Fannie Mae, where he implemented risk controls over valuation and transaction accounting for the investment portfolio. Prior to that, he was a portfolio manager, investing in whole loans and mortgage related securities.
