Parkson Partners with JMT for HiOx® Aeration Panel Production

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Parkson is pleased to announce the exclusive manufacturing license granted to Jacobs Machine and Tools (JMT) for the HiOx® product line, including HiOx® UltraFlex Aeration System and HiOx® PVC Aeration Panels. In its partnership with Jacobs, Parkson gains a development partner as well as an expert in Radio Frequency (RF) welding equipment manufacturing and operations.

JMT was selected as the supplier of the new HiOx UltraFlex Aeration Panel after an exhaustive supplier search to work with Parkson to surpass the challenges of developing such a revolutionary aeration product. The supplier selection criteria were based on: sufficient space, optimized logistics, RF welding expertise, throughput time, and the overall willingness to partner in developing an optimal manufacturing process. JMT received the top score in a thorough evaluation of RF-capable suppliers. The use of the RF welding technology in this type of application is unique, though considerably more effective than other manufacturing options.

Similar to Parkson, JMT is a private, family owned company founded in 1967. JMT has been providing high quality design, engineering and manufacturing services to the aerospace, defense, automotive, transportation, healthcare, industrial, electronics, construction, and telecommunication industries.

The JMT relationship has been incredibly collaborative. Parkson installed much of the manufacturing equipment from a previous Parkson-owned facility and has provided JMT extensive production and maintenance training to ensure a smooth production transition. Together, Parkson and JMT have the capacity today to produce 7,000 panels annually in the existing plant configuration.
