ALAMEDA THEATRE & CINEPLEX Presents New Year’s Eve “CASINO NIGHT with FRANK & DINO”

ALAMEDA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Thursday, December 31, 2009, 8:00pm - Guests are invited to a 50’s style casino club atmosphere at the Alameda Theatre for a “retro” event benefiting Alameda Civic Light Opera, Alameda Civic Ballet and Blossom Garden Alameda Chapter of Oakland Children’s Hospital, Midway Shelter - Building Futures with Women & Children, Alameda Meals on Wheels. Attendees can play their luck on the casino floor with authentic Vegas games-of-chance. This red carpet affair revives the spirits from a by-gone era in music, when Frankie, Dino & Sammy topped the charts as “The RAT PACK”.

Performing live on the Historic Alameda Theatre stage the Pack impersonators will swoon for an adoring audience accompanied by the magnificent 17-piece Starduster Orchestra. Singing original classics like “My Way” and “Mac the Knife”, they will recreate a night club act similar to that of the original Rat Pack with Martini’s in hand.

General Admission guests receive admission to main floor gaming, (1) ticket for premium wine or beer, appetizers from Culina Deli, show & dance floor admission and favors and a Free Movie Pass to return to the movie theatre in 2010.

For “High-Rollers” an exclusive VIP experience awaits. VIP ticket holders receive admission to the private Mezzanine and poker parlor to delight in a gourmet buffet by Pappo Restaurant. VIP’s will receive a $25. Pappo Gift Certificate, party favors, (1) ticket for premium wine or beer, balcony box show seating, dance floor access and a midnight hour champagne toast.
