DURHAM, N.C.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Square 1 Bank, a diversified financial services company, announced the appointment of David W. Brooks II as Chief Financial Officer on September 25, 2009.

Mr. Brooks, a North Carolina native, has served in various capacities with local, regional and super-regional banks for the past 28 years. His roles in the past have included Chief Financial Officer, Treasury Group Executive, and VP of Mergers and Acquisitions.
