NEW YORK--()--Sentry Centers, LLC, a national provider of non-residential conference and executive center services in urban cores, today announced Sentry Centers Mid-Town East, a new executive conference and meeting facility located at 730 Third Avenue between 45th and 46th Street. Occupying three full floors, the new facility is positioned as Manhattan’s first purpose built “business class” conference and event facility.
“We offer a private, secure, distraction-free setting for executive meetings, events, tradeshows, banquets, seminars, and training programs, all within two blocks of Grand Central Station.”
“We’ve positioned Sentry Centers Mid-Town East to be an ‘all business’ meeting center, a five-star alternative to pricey, mixed-use hotel facilities,” said Mark Magarity, CEO, Sentry Centers, LLC. “We offer a private, secure, distraction-free setting for executive meetings, events, tradeshows, banquets, seminars, and training programs, all within two blocks of Grand Central Station.”
The vision for Sentry Centers became a reality after Teachers Insurance and Annuity Association - College Retirement Equities Fund (TIAA-CREF) leased their corporate meeting facilities to Sentry Center Mid-Town East, LLC. As a result, the new facility has exceptionally elegant and well-appointed conference and board rooms, far beyond those found in most Midtown NY hotels.
The facilities' key amenities:
- The Wharton Ballroom, a 4,000 square foot space located on the 17th floor with two-story floor-to-ceiling windows that provide stunning views of the Midtown skyline. Meeting capacity for an audience of up to 400 people.
- The Outdoor Garden Terrace, a luxurious outdoor space on the 22nd floor ideal for social events and banquets under the sun and stars.
- A fully-equipped Executive Board Room features a 48-foot long conference table to comfortably seat 40, advanced audio visual capabilities, and absolute security and privacy.
- A dedicated sound and AV production department with satellite transmission and full video editing capabilities.
- All meeting rooms have Creston® audio video control panels, adjustable lighting and room temperature controls, motorized presentation screens and window shades, plus free, secure Wi-Fi access on all floors.
To complement the outstanding quality and service of its meeting facilities, Sentry Center Mid-Town East has both casual and formal banquet options for larger groups plus smaller, executive dining rooms for a five-star dining experience.
“Sentry Center Midtown East began as a dedicated corporate meeting space, so we don’t have to be all things to all people,” said Ryan Simonetti, CIO/Principal, Sentry Centers. “Our value proposition is clear: we promise meeting planners -- and their clients – an exceptional New York business meeting experience with service, catering, technology, and overall sophistication that just can’t be matched by any Midtown hotel.”
