The contest, which benefits Boys & Girls Clubs of America (www.bgca.org), attracted entrants from all over the country, with California and New York submitting the vast majority of potential look-a-likes. Everyone’s favorite lovable loser, Charlie Brown, won the day with far and away the highest number of look-a-like wannabes—more than three times as many as the next runner-up, Linus. Charlie Brown’s imaginative beagle, Snoopy, and his supremely confident little sister, Sally, were playing tug-of-war for third.
Now the voting public can join the fun and play the deciding role in selecting the Grand Prize winner—who will enjoy an all-expenses-paid trip for four to Cedar Point amusement park in Sandusky, Ohio, home of Planet Snoopy. Visit www.peanutsphotocontest.com by December 4 to view the photos of the 30 look-a-like finalists and vote for your favorite.
Will it be a clever Charlie Brown up-and-comer? A Linus look-a-like? A Snoopy dog double? Vote by December 4 and then find out!
