Pop Secret® Launches New Jumbo Popping Corn Kernels

SAN FRANCISCO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Diamond Foods, Inc. (NASDAQ: DMND), announced today that it will be adding Pop Secret Jumbo Popping Corn Kernels to its Pop Secret product line in early 2010. The product will be launched into select markets across the country. The new offering marks the brand’s first product offering into the fast growing popping corn kernel market.

In addition, the new Jumbo Popping Corn kernels will be sold in a proprietary, ergonomic package. “We designed the package to have a distinctive corn cob shape that is taller and more slender than traditional offerings enabling consumers to easily handle the product during preparation,” said Allcock.
