Fujitsu Selects Neterion for 10 Gigabit Ethernet in “SPARC Enterprise” Servers

SUNNYVALE, Calif. & TOKYO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Neterion, Inc., the industry leader in 10 Gigabit Ethernet (10 GbE) adapters for server and storage environments, today announced an OEM agreement with Fujitsu Limited, to supply Neterion’s third generation 10 GbE adapters for Fujitsu SPARC®-based servers. The 10 GbE adapter option is now available to the general public on Fujitsu SPARC Enterprise servers.

In addition, the two companies had already collaborated on a high throughput network solution for another Fujitsu platform. The proven performance in that solution was another reason to collaborate again.
