GRAND RAPIDS, Mich.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sprint is helping Michigan and Indiana parents keep track of their little ghouls and goblins this Halloween through Family Locator, a convenient, reliable and secure way to find family members instantly from any Web-enabled mobile phone or computer.

Trick-or-treating is a thrill for costumed kids, but there’s nothing more frightening for a parent than wondering about a child’s safety as they go door-to-door. Family Locator’s availability in Michigan and Indiana now means knowing exactly where a child is anytime parents can’t be at his or her side is as simple as turning on a cell phone.

The Family Locator feature uses GPS technology with real-time interactive satellite maps including street addresses and landmarks. The technology allows parents to pinpoint a child’s location right from a cell phone or computer. It’s safe and password-protected, giving access to only authorized adults.
