CHICAGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The Jacobson Group - the national professional and human capital services firm serving the insurance, healthcare and financial services industries - announces the launch of its blog offering insight on timely topics affecting the firm’s niche industries.

Titled “In Jacobson’s Shoes: an insurance blog by The Jacobson Group’s CEO,” the blog provides bi-weekly posts addressing healthcare, life and disability, and property and casualty insurance issues. The blog is maintained and authored by Chief Executive Officer Richard “Rick” Jacobson.

“Our organization works with insurance professionals at every level and within all insurance sectors,” said Jacobson. “As a result, we have a vast pool of knowledge within our organization. We hope the blog will allow us to share this holistic perspective with the insurance community, while providing a forum for further discussion.”

Jacobson maintains shared leadership of The Jacobson Group. He oversees the organization’s flexible talent division, Jacobson Solutions, as well as the financial and operational functions of the entire organization. Prior to his tenure with The Jacobson Group, he worked as a senior integration consultant at Andersen Consulting in Chicago. Jacobson received his master’s degree in business administration from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management in Evanston, Ill., with concentrations in management and strategy, as well as marketing. He earned his bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago.
