COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Michelle Duncan, Chief Candle Creator at D-n-D Ranch Aromas Candle & Gift Shop, is a lifelong animal lover. Not only is she a business owner and human matriarch of an animal brood of 29, she finds time to volunteer as a homechecker for National Mill Dog Rescue.

Even though she seems to have stopped at 29, Duncan decided she could still help rescues by encouraging others to adopt animal companions. Candles feed our animals. Art, Barks & Crafts was also born out of need: the need to find homes for rescued mill dogs and unwanted and lost pets. Five million dogs and cats are euthanized every year because they can’t find homes.”
