Exacq Announces Integration with Basler Vision Technologies’ Compact H.264 IP Cameras

INDIANAPOLIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Exacq Technologies has added the integration of IP cameras from Basler Vision Technologies to the exacqVision VMS (Video Management System) software used for video surveillance.

Basler Vision Technologies currently manufactures a wide range of network cameras ranging from VGA (640 x 480) to 2 megapixel resolution, all with day/night models available. Basler utilizes H.264 compression on their entire line of compact cameras, combining high video resolution with smaller file sizes. The exacqVision VMS software integrates the entire line of Basler cameras.

The server software is installed on exacqVision market-leading hybrid servers (incorporating analog and network cameras), exacqVision IP camera servers and on commercial off-the-shelf servers running on either a Windows or Linux operating system. Every exacqVision server can be viewed and administrated from the free client software available for Windows, Linux and Macintosh computers. The client software connects to an unlimited number of exacqVision servers (regardless of the operating systems being used) to create a truly scalable surveillance solution utilizing both analog and network cameras.
