BlueWater Financial Partners recently originated, structured and underwrote the transaction of a $4.5 million, 24-month term bridge loan to a co-operative community located in Hampton, Virginia. For the borrower, the bridge loan provided capital needed to pay off the current maturing loan on the property, complete deferred maintenance items and renovate vacant units. Once the renovations are complete, the borrower will be able to refinance the BlueWater Financial Partners loan through a more traditional source of financing.
