WAYNE, Pa.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--MEDecision, Inc., a leading provider of collaborative health care management solutions, today announced that it has entered into a joint integration and marketing agreement with Availity, LLC, a leading health information network provider. The deal demonstrates the companies’ commitments to improving collaboration and interoperability as they strengthen their leadership roles in health care’s technological transformation.

The partnership will allow various levels of integration between Availity’s secure web portal, the Availity® Health Information Network, and MEDecision’s Nexalign™ collaborative health care information exchange service. MEDecision will deliver the actionable, real-time patient data in its Nexalign Clinical Summaries to Availity’s customers through Availity’s CareProfile^SM claims-based electronic health record. MEDecision will also supply its advanced referral and authorization technology to Availity’s users.
