Core Security Appoints Steve Pace as Vice President of Sales

BOSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Core Security Technologies, provider of the CORE IMPACT family of comprehensive enterprise security testing solutions, today announced the appointment of Steve Pace as its new vice president of sales. In this role, Mr. Pace will oversee all strategic sales and services operations at Core and will report directly to Mark Hatton, president and CEO.

Mr. Pace joins Core Security from ChosenSecurity, a respected provider of on-demand digital identity services, where he served as senior vice president of worldwide operations and was responsible for all of the company’s sales, marketing, support and service operations throughout the world. He also previously held the title of vice president of worldwide sales with GeoTrust, where he was responsible for providing leadership of direct and channel sales efforts worldwide and driving the company through an unprecedented growth phase until its acquisition by VeriSign.

Mr. Pace’s experience also includes positions held at companies such as application service provider, Surebridge, Inc., where he was responsible for building the company’s sales and marketing organization from its earliest days through its eventual sale to NaviSite, Inc. After the acquisition, Pace stayed on with responsibility for worldwide sales and marketing at NaviSite and oversight of the integration of the company’s sales and marketing efforts for multiple lines of businesses including Software as a Service (SaaS), Microsoft Business Solutions, Oracle/JDE/Siebel and PeopleSoft applications. Mr. Pace also acquired extensive worldwide sales, marketing and operational management experience while at companies including Seagate Software, Wall Data, NetScout and IBM.
