Global Entertainment Holdings Announces Financing and Production Date for American Sunset

LOS ANGELES--()--Global Entertainment Holdings, Inc., a publicly traded entertainment Company trading on the OTC (Pink Sheets: GBHL), announced that its Canadian affiliate, Global Universal Pictures, Inc., has successfully completed all necessary financing for the production of American Sunset, the Company’s second feature-length film in production within six months. Global Universal Film Group, Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary, is the sales agent for American Sunset.

GBHL CEO Gary Rasmussen, stated that “Kaleidoscope Entertainment has been selected as the Canadian distributor for American Sunset, which will be filmed entirely in Canada.”

Jackie has an excellent reputation as a 'hands on' producer and possesses the skill and experience needed to make American Sunset a remarkable picture,” stated Randy Zalken, President Kaleidoscope Entertainment.

Jacqueline Giroux, President of Global Universal Pictures, announced that American Sunset, an action thriller, is funded and will commence principal photography on May 1, 2009, with a release scheduled for sometime in September. “We have several ‘star’ actors interested in becoming involved with this film project, as it deals with the timely subject matter of personal security in today’s world. Named talent for American Sunset will be cast and announced shortly.”

Ms. Giroux wrote American Sunset and will be the Producer, with Michael Masucci directing. Marc Savoie of The Postman, a post-production facility in Moncton, Canada, will Co-Produce and provide post-production services. Executive Producers are Eric Leffler and Gary Rasmussen.
