Vista Breaks Through 30% U.S. Market Share – StatCounter

NEW YORK & DUBLIN--(BUSINESS WIRE)--For the first time last week Windows Vista consistently broke 30% share of the operating system market in the United States according to research by StatCounter which provides free website traffic statistics.

Cullen added that Mac OS X is gaining market share. Its share of the operating system market has grown 25% from 6.6% in January (week three) to 8.3% last week. Windows XP still leads the market with 56.6% last week down from 70% in January.
