Brandeis International Business School to Honor Linda Rottenberg, CEO and Co-Founder of Endeavor Global

Ms. Rottenberg to accept global entrepreneurship award and will address how the resilience and creativity of entrepreneurs around the world are thriving amidst the current global financial crisis.

WHO: Recently named by US News & World Report as one of “America’s Best Leaders,” Linda Rottenberg is CEO and Co-founder of Endeavor, an organization that identifies and supports High-Impact Entrepreneurs in emerging markets. She will be accepting the 2009 Asper Award for Global Entrepreneurship presented by Brandeis International Business School.

WHAT: The Asper Award recognizes leaders who have demonstrated outstanding success in the global marketplace through creative marketing and business strategies, exemplary corporate citizenship and by creating partnerships across geographic and cultural boundaries. Ms. Rottenberg will be accepting the 2009 Asper Award for her exceptional leadership in creating an organization that identifies and supports entrepreneurs in emerging markets.

Ms. Rottenberg will deliver the keynote presentation "Global Crisis? Opportunity for Entrepreneurs!" where she will discuss how a "mentor capitalist" model is helping emerging markets move the macroeconomic needle forward. An on-the-record question and answer period will follow, and she will also be available for media interviews immediately after her presentation.
