Seattle Sutton's Healthy Eating Expands Franchise Area to Ohio

OTTAWA, Ill.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Seattle Sutton’s Healthy Eating (SSHE) is proud to announce its newest franchised area, Ohio, is now open for business. The freshly prepared, delicious meals are now available for delivery to home or office throughout Ohio.

The new Ohio franchise serves freshly prepared, portion and calorie controlled meals to customers via shipping next day service through UPS. To do so, special packaging is used to ensure optimal freshness and the quality of the meals remains the same as when they leave their Michigan kitchen. Previously, Ohio was served by SSHE Corporate’s national Home Delivery program operating from its Illinois Headquarters.

The SSHE meal plan follows the guidelines of health and nutrition experts and is portion and calorie controlled, low fat, low saturated fat, low cholesterol and sodium restricted. Meals are ideal for everyone, but especially helpful for diabetics, cardiac patients, people with hypertension, new and expecting mothers, recently discharged hospital patients, seniors and busy professionals. The meals do not contain:

Artificial sweeteners, food dyes, harmful additives or preservatives
High fructose corn syrup
Hydrogenated or partially hydrogenated oils (trans fat)
Hormones or antibiotics in poultry products

Through this new franchise, more people in Ohio will be able to afford the meals since they are shipping them from their Michigan facility and it’s much more affordable. For example, the 1,200-calorie portion plan will cost $129 plus $20 shipping and the 2,000-calorie portion plan will cost $149 plus $20 shipping. That’s for two refrigerated shipments to home or office each week. By purchasing a 4-week plan, the shipping costs are waived.

The Ohio franchise is owned and operated by Wallace Duvall, Dan Schroeder and Bob Bognar. This team also owns and operates the Michigan SSHE franchise and have done so since 2003. Together, they bring a wealth of business experience to the table and look forward to expanding into Ohio.
