Steven Griffith Named President and CEO of Syntricity Inc

SAN DIEGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Syntricity Inc., today announced that Steven Griffith, formerly the company's chief operating officer and chief technology officer, has been appointed president and chief executive officer. In this role, Mr. Griffith will assume responsibility for all Syntricity business operations and accelerating the growth of Syntricity's enterprise yield management software applications for semiconductor yield and production monitoring.

A.C. D'Augustine, who served as president and chief executive officer since 2008, will retain his seat on the Board of Directors as Chairman of the Board. “Syntricity has made significant progress in 2008. Prior to co-founding Syntricity in 1997, Steven Griffith held positions at Rockwell Corporation, Brooktree Corporation and Unisys, where he was closely involved with the development of software technologies for semiconductor product and test engineers. In addition to holding a patent at Syntricity for storing, retrieving and analyzing characterization data, Griffith co-authored “1001 Java Programmer Tips” in 1996. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering and an MBA from San Diego State University.
