Cerus Cancels Presentation at BIO CEO & Investor Conference

CONCORD, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Cerus Corporation (NASDAQ:CERS) announced today that due to a death in his family, Claes Glassell, president and CEO of Cerus, will be unable to present at the 11th Annual BIO CEO & Investor Conference in New York City. Cerus' presentation had been scheduled to begin at 10:30 a.m. EST on Monday, February 9, 2009. Management of Cerus is next scheduled to make public comments on a conference call announcing Cerus’ fourth quarter and year-end results, which will occur after the market closes on February 26, 2009. Details of that teleconference and webcast will be made available next week.
