NEW YORK--()--People who support Hale House Center can now use their everyday spending to help this Harlem institution help children.
“By carrying and using the Hale House Visa card, our many friends in the greater New York area and throughout the country can support Hale House at this important time in our history.”
Hale House today began offering the new Hale House Visa affinity credit card at www.halehouse.org. Hale House earns $50 each time a Hale House card is activated, plus an ongoing share of the monthly charge volume. Funds help Hale House operate an early childhood learning center and a transitional housing program.
“Hale House begins its 40th year of service to the community by delivering child-centered, family-focused programs that meet community needs,” said Randy McLaughlin, Executive Director of Hale House. “By carrying and using the Hale House Visa card, our many friends in the greater New York area and throughout the country can support Hale House at this important time in our history.”
Hale House offers the card in cooperation with CardPartner (www.cardpartner.com), a New York-based company that helps small and mid-sized non-profits establish the kind of affinity credit card programs once reserved for much larger groups. CardPartner is changing the old affinity credit card business model by operating virtually and offering groups customized, self-service marketing tools.
“CardPartner clients love how quickly their programs get started, the fact that they control the marketing, and that proceeds help fund their operations and not someone else’s overhead,” says Doug Davis, CardPartner senior director of sales & marketing.
The launch of the Hale House card follows the recent New York debut of the Gilda’s Club NYC Visa card. More than 115 other nonprofits and small groups have launched a CardPartner Visa credit card program since early 2008.
