2009 International CES Returns to Las Vegas; Media Events Open Tomorrow; Show Floor Opens Thursday

Research Presentations and CES Unveiled Kick Off World’s Largest Consumer Technology Tradeshow

WHAT:	The 2009 International CES^®, the world’s largest technology tradeshow, returns to Las Vegas this week and media are invited to the preview events that begin tomorrow. The 2009 International CES, open to participants in the CE industry, runs January 8-11 at the Las Vegas Convention Center (LVCC)/The Hilton Hotel and Sands Expo and Convention Center/The Venetian.
PRE-SHOW:	Media events at the 2009 International CES begin Tuesday, January 6 at the Sands/Venetian.
	-- 2-3 p.m., State of the CE Industry: This session will present new research into economic and market trends and consumer dynamics behind the technology on display at the 2009 International CES. The presentation is in The Venetian, Bellini Ballroom 2105.
	-- 3-4 p.m., Global CE Market Trends: This new CES media event will provide a comprehensive look at worldwide market trends for the consumer technology industry. This research presentation will be held in The Venetian, Bellini Ballroom 2105.
	-- 4-7 p.m., CES Unveiled: The Official Press Event of the International CES kicks off the evening with more than 50 exhibitor tabletop previews and displays. CES Unveiled will be held in The Venetian Ballroom at the Sands/Venetian. Refreshments will be served.
	Gary Shapiro, president and CEO, CEA will be available for media interviews during this event.
