LiveWire Mobile Appoints Two New Members to Board of Directors

LITTLETON, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--LiveWire Mobile, Inc. (NASDAQ: LVWR), a leading provider of mobile managed personalization services, today announced that Robert M. Pons and Jill C. Thoerle have joined the Board of Directors.

Mr. Pons has more than 25 years of senior level management experience at early stage, Fortune 500 and turnaround companies. Currently, Mr. Pons is Senior Vice President of Capital Markets for TMNG (NASDAQ: TMNG), a provider of management consulting services to the global telecommunications industry. Prior to TMNG he was CEO of Uphonia/SmartServ Inc. (OTCBB: UPHN), a publicly-traded wireless firm. Mr. Pons originated his telecommunications experience at MCI in 1980 and is an early pioneer of the telecommunications industry, working with both landline and wireless systems. He currently sits on the board of Network1 Security Solutions (OTCBB: NSSI), an acquirer, developer and licensor of intellectual property. Mr. Pons holds a B.A. from Rowan University.

Ms. Thoerle has more than 20 years of experience as an advisor and operating executive in the telecommunications, media, and technology industries with extensive experience in business development and building small and start-up companies. Currently, she is CFO of Mediaport Entertainment, Inc., a leader in digital retail distribution and fulfillment systems. Ms. Thoerle also founded and led REO Group, specializing in turnarounds and restructuring. Ms. Thoerle was the CFO for Narrowstep Inc. (OTCBB: NRWS), a leader in IPTV communications, and the CEO of Ontera Broadband, a provider of high speed Internet cable TV and local and long distance services. She also served in senior positions with Cerberus Capital Management, AT&T, and TCG, Inc. Ms. Thoerle currently serves as a director of Arbinet – the exchange, Inc. (NASDAQ: ARBX), a leading provider of innovative solutions empowering telecommunications providers. She has a Masters from Columbia University and a Bachelors Degree from City College of New York.
