Handmark Brings One of the World’s Most Trusted Dictionaries to Apple App Store

KANSAS CITY, Mo.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Handmark, a global leader in the development and distribution of mobile media, today announced the New Oxford American Dictionary application for iPhone and iPod touch is available on the Apple App Store. The dictionary contains more than 250,000 entries and definitions with content stored locally so it can be used without a wireless connection.

While the application offers a vast collection of entries and definitions, New Oxford American Dictionary is designed to serve the user clearly, simply and quickly with precise guidance. Users can easily search for entries by name, bookmark dictionary entries for future reference, and even play audio of dictionary entries for correct pronunciation.
