BALTIMORE--()--Blue Sky Factory (www.blueskyfactory.com), the industry leading email service provider (ESP), today announced the appointment of Doug Broujos to the company’s management team. Broujos, an online marketing veteran, is the company’s new chief operating officer and will oversee the company’s sales and marketing, account services, IT, and web services departments.
“As the company’s client base grows, it is essential to build and maintain personal relationships with our clients”
Broujos brings over 20 years of online marketing experience to Blue Sky Factory. Previously, Broujos served as senior vice president of client services at TIG Global, a hospitality-focused Internet marketing company, where he led client teams focused on client consultation, service, and performance.
Before joining TIG Global, Broujos was senior vice president of marketing and e-commerce for 3Di Technologies, an international GIS data management company with clients in the banking, telecommunications, and travel sectors. In addition to leading the company's marketing strategy, he managed the operational integration for five acquisitions, and was responsible for creating national client-service teams and further enhancing customer relationships.
Early in his career, Mr. Broujos founded one of the first commercial Internet Service Providers in Maryland, later acquired by a CBS-TV affiliate.
“Doug brings invaluable experience to the company during this time of rapid growth,” said Greg Cangialosi, Blue Sky Factory CEO. “Email marketing is on the rise, and is delivering a healthy return even in the current economic decline. Doug’s proven management expertise will be critical in continuing the company’s steady growth and ensuring best of breed software and client services.”
On the heels of the recent nTarget acquisition, Blue Sky Factory’s expansion also includes a new west coast office. The San Francisco-based office is run by senior account manager Joanna Lawson-Matthew.
“As the company’s client base grows, it is essential to build and maintain personal relationships with our clients,” said Cangialosi. “Our office expansion allows us to have a stronger national presence, and provide more attentive and proactive services to west coast-based clients.”
Other new additions to the Blue Sky Factory team include adding Amy Garland as marketing manager, and Elena Hekimian, to the post of account coordinator. Blue Sky Factory expects to hire for two new staff positions by the end of the year.
