NEW YORK--()--Modern Luxury Media, the largest publisher of city magazines in the United States, today announced that its portfolio will debut a new look and feel, beginning with the November issue of its core city-regional titles. MANHATTAN magazine, Modern Luxury’s newest lifestyle glossy that launched in September, was first to showcase the elements of this redesign, and now the sleeker, sophisticated format is set to roll out across all markets.
“We are energizing our existing products and investing in new media channels and content platforms to clearly distinguish Modern Luxury’s value and identity.”
“We are thrilled to unveil the redesign on a broad scale,” said Ann Song, VP Creative & Fashion Director. “We’re leading the reader on a controlled visual journey through a cleaner, more contemporary, more vibrant blend of editorial and imagery. Also, as Modern Luxury gets ready to launch an exciting digital platform, it was important that there be strong synergy between our print and online offerings. These enhancements will bring the two together in a compelling way that will encourage more interaction. Our talented art department has captured the Modern Luxury brand and the lifestyle it represents.”
The improved aesthetics of Modern Luxury’s core print titles are a significant step in advancing the company’s strategy to differentiate itself in the market and drive value for advertisers through use of engaging platforms and formats. Modern Luxury’s Front Desk publications are next to undergo a new look and feel, with a scheduled launch slated for March 2009.
“We couldn’t be more pleased with the outcome of the Modern Luxury team’s design efforts. The enthusiasm for MANHATTAN magazine suggests the new look will be well received by our advertisers and readers,” said Michael Kong, CEO of Modern Luxury Media. “We are energizing our existing products and investing in new media channels and content platforms to clearly distinguish Modern Luxury’s value and identity.”
