Greenberg Traurig Attorneys Selected for “Key Partners” Awards

MIAMI--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Shareholders Paul D’Arelli, Bruce March, and Diana Zeydel of the international law firm Greenberg Traurig, PA, were selected as “Key Partners” by the South Florida Business Journal during its recent 2008 Key Partners Awards ceremony. The awards recognize attorneys and CPAs in South Florida.

D’Arelli, a shareholder in the Fort Lauderdale office and co-chair of the firm’s Green Building and Sustainability Practice, was honored in the general law category. He was the first Florida attorney to be certified as a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Accredited Professional (LEED AP) by the U.S. Green Building Council (USBGC) and the fifth LEED AP in the United States.

March, a corporate and securities shareholder in the firm’s Fort Lauderdale office, was recognized in the business law category. March recently was selected by the Daily Business Review as Top Dealmaker of the Year in the domestic corporate category for leading a legal team in the $3.4 billion merger of Freedom and U.K.’s GLG Partners. He focuses his practice on mergers and acquisitions, buyouts and recapitalizations, and private equity and venture capital transactions.

Zeydel was recognized for her work in tax law. Zeydel is a shareholder in the firm’s tax, trusts and estates practice and focuses her practice on estate planning for high net worth individuals and families in the U.S. and abroad from the firm’s Miami office.

Greenberg Traurig shareholder Lucia Dougherty was a finalist in the real estate and construction law category. Dougherty is often praised for her work in land use law.
