HFF Arranges $74 Million Financing
for CONSOL Energy

PITTSBURGH--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The Pittsburgh office of HFF (Holliday Fenoglio Fowler, L.P.) announced today that it arranged a $74 million forward permanent loan for the 384,000-square-foot corporate headquarters of CONSOL Energy in Canonsburg, Pennsylvania.
HFF managing director Mark Popovich exclusively represented the borrower, Horizon Properties in securing the 10-year, fixed-rate loan through Nationwide Life Insurance Company. Horizon Properties is a full-service development company with extensive experience in the development of office buildings and corporate headquarter facilities.
Completed in August 2008, The CONSOL Energy Headquarters consists of a three-story, 75,000-square-foot building and a four-story, 309,000-square-foot office building. CONSOL is leasing both facilities through 2028. The property is located within the Southpointe Office/Industrial Park adjacent to Interstate 79 approximately 15 miles southwest of Pittsburgh’s central business district.
