OakTree Enterprise Solutions Inc. Adopts SuccessFactors Professional Edition for Small and Mid-Sized Businesses

Performance Management, Goal Management and 360-Degree Review Modules Enable IT Firm to Manage Performance and Increase Communication

SAN MATEO, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--SuccessFactors, Inc. (NASDAQ:SFSF), the global leader in on-demand performance and talent management solutions, today announced that OakTree Enterprise Solutions, Inc. has selected SuccessFactors Professional Edition offering for small and mid-sized businesses. The Reston, Va.-based IT firm implemented SuccessFactors’ performance management, goal management and 360-degree review modules for 16 employees, with plans to bring the solution to its 64 other employees over time.

Since 1999, OakTree has provided IT consulting services and software for more than 150 small and mid-sized businesses, in addition to a large percentage of federal and military projects. Prior to implementing SuccessFactors, the company maintained HR and performance management initiatives through manual paper-based processes. This approach ultimately became too time-consuming and non-specific for the company’s managers, who wanted to implement a formal HR and performance management system that would add more customization and address specific tracking needs.

OakTree worked together with SuccessFactors to create a personalized goal tracking system that would help the company cater to specific skill sets and needs. SuccessFactors’ software-as-a-service (SaaS) solution also enabled OakTree to initiate a 360-degree review process, helping managers and associates to exchange feedback on a more frequent, transparent basis and spur ongoing communication among teams.
