Creaform Expands its Presence in Asia, Europe and North America

LEVIS, Quebec--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Creaform, developer and manufacturer of the Handyscan 3D^TM product line of laser scanners, announced today the completion of its 2008 business development plan in Asia with the official incorporation of its Japanese office, Creaform Japan. Additionally, the company announced the opening of its European Calibration Center in France.

These events take place just a few months after the incorporation of its Chinese subsidiary, Creaform Shanghai, and the opening of a new Montréal office.

Asian Expansion

Since 2005, Creaform has consistently demonstrated its market value and penetration into the Asian market with its acclaimed Handyscan 3D product line. With the incorporation of the Shanghai and Yokohama offices, Creaform now has both a market and geographical advantage to continue its international growth, capitalizing on the economically-emergent markets of the past few years.

European Support

To better serve its growing European clientele, Creaform’s new Calibration Center allows Handyscan 3D laser scanner customers in the EMEA geographical area to have their scanners calibrated or serviced.

North American Growth

Earlier this year, Creaform also inaugurated a service office in Montréal, Québec, Canada. This new entity enables Creaform to provide scanning, metrology and inspection, CAD and reverse engineering services to its Canadian-based clients.
