Duos Awarded Contract to Protect High Traffic Public Access Area of Major Medical Facility

JACKSONVILLE, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Baptist Health, the largest not-for-profit healthcare provider in south Florida, has awarded a substantial contract to Duos Technologies, Inc. to deploy an intelligent video surveillance system in a high traffic public access area of one of its largest medical facilities.

The deployed system will combine traditional surveillance devices and an existing infrastructure security system based on Duos’ current generation of the praesidium® intelligent video platform to secure a high-risk area of the hospital campus. This system will meet Baptist Health’s goal of ensuring the protection of physical and personal assets, and the safety of patients and visitors. Implementation of the project is a continuation of Baptist Health’s transition to video analytics as a tool to achieve the hospitals safety and security objectives and will be a model for similar systems at other Baptist facilities.
