Already offering options to enhance the in-home spa experience, such as chromotherapy lighting, steam and aromatherapy, Lasco offers designers and homeowners more choices with its new immersive music system.

The Music’s in the Tub

The unique, patented technology allows for installation of an in-bath or shower sound system, with sound generated from within the fixture using the bath or shower as an actual “living speaker.” Sound is evenly distributed within the entire tub environment generating full spectrum audio, unlike conventional speaker systems.

The SonicSplash immersive music system has to be experienced to be believed. The system envelops the user with sound as the entire bath or shower becomes a speaker. As music, for example, emanates from within the bath or shower, the sound swirls in every direction, for a sonic experience bar none.

How Does It Work?

Available as an option on select Contours luxury baths and showers, the SonicSplash sound system turns any bath fixture into a relaxing audio experience. Using a specially tuned amplifier system, the sound is uniquely customized to the size and shape of the tub and its surrounding environment. As a result, consumers quite literally bathe in sound as they add music within their tub to further enhance their bathing experience. And, in the Contours Radius steam shower, a product already equipped with many high-end spa features, the system enables a uniquely enjoyable sound chamber effect within the shower.

The SonicSplash immersive music option is also helpful for those customers who don’t want to install in-wall or on-wall, water-resistant speakers in their bath area.
