Time Warner Cable Teams Up With Wal-Mart to Offer Cable, Broadband and Digital Phone at Local Wal-Mart Locations

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Time Warner Cable (NYSE:TWC) announced today that customers are now able to purchase its cable, broadband internet access and digital phone service in nearly 700 Wal-Mart locations Customers can sign up for services with the help of a Wal-Mart electronics associate, guiding them on selecting packages of their choice through easily accessible in-store kiosks at the Wal-Mart “Connection Center.”

The partnership between the nation’s leading retailer and second largest cable operator will allow customers to access new affordable services to enhance their communication and home entertainment needs. In many cases, it allows customers easy access to enjoying their high definition experience even more with the purchase of a Time Warner Cable high definition signal at the same time they are purchasing a new HDTV.
