UGO Networks, Inc. Seeks Undiscovered Talent Through ‘UGOPlayer.com’s Online Game Fest’

Aspiring Game Developers to Create Flash^® Games for Cash Prizes

WHO:	Leveraging its loyal community of Web-based gaming enthusiasts, UGO Networks, Inc. launches an online game festival where aspiring game developers can submit their creations for prizes worth up to $5,000 and the possibility to become a game developer for UGOPlayer.com.
WHAT:	UGOPlayer.com's Online Game Fest will solicit Web games from independent game designers across the country. Eligible entries will be single file, Flash^® .SWFs less than 6MB in size. Submissions will be judged on creativity/originality, aesthetics, game play, entertainment value, and replay value. Ten finalists will be evaluated by a panel of industry experts including Donald Mustard (Creative Director of Chair Entertainment Group), Simon Carless (Chairman of the Independent Games Festival and Publisher of Game Developer Magazine), Sam Roberts (Festival Director for IndieCade), Skye Boyes (President and CEO of XGen Studios) and Mel Basar (General Manager of UGOPlayer.com). One Grand Prize winner will receive $5,000 and a chance to become a game developer for UGOPlayer.com. 1^st prize will receive $1,500, 2^nd prize will receive $750, 3^rd prize will receive $500 and 4^th prize will receive $250. All eligible entries will be featured on UGOPlayer.com exclusively throughout the contest period.
