Johns Manville Receives Home American Building Product Award for EnviroAire™ Formaldehyde-Free™ Duct Board

DENVER--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Johns Manville (JM), a leading building products manufacturer based in Denver, today is being honored with an American Building Product Award from Home Magazine for its EnviroAire™ Formaldehyde-free™ Duct Board. The award recognizes outstanding innovation, design, energy efficiency and convenience in new building products and is being presented at the International Builders’ Show in Orlando. This is the second consecutive year in which Johns Manville has received this award – JM’s Gorilla Wrap™ Translucent Housewrap was honored in 2007.

Unlike most metal and other ducts on the market, EnviroAire's blue EnviroCoate™ Reinforced Coating System features an antimicrobial treatment to protect the air-stream surface against damage from the potential growth of bacteria, mold and fungus for the life of the product.
