Hasbro and Singing Sensations Aly & AJ Featured in February 2nd Webcast to Unveil the 2008 LITTLEST PET SHOP Product Line

New Cuddly VIPs Also Set to Arrive at Retail Stores Worldwide

PAWTUCKET, RI.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Hasbro, Inc. (NYSE: HAS) today announced that it will host a LITTLEST PET SHOP webcast on February 2 to unveil new and exciting products due to hit retail stores worldwide beginning now through fall 2008. The Internet-based fan event will feature sibling pop duo Aly & AJ and can be viewed at www.littlestpetshop.com beginning at 10:00 a.m. EST. Girls around the world are expected to log on for an exclusive pre-release glimpse of the amazing things to come within the LITTLEST PET SHOP world such as a new hip look, the latest VIPs (Virtual Interactive Pets), new playsets and more.

Adding to the excitement surrounding the February 2 web event, Hasbro announced that LITTLEST PET SHOP VIPs have begun shipping to retail stores around the world. Eleven new VIPs have been released, joining the original five unleashed in October 2007 exclusively in the New York metro area and online. The full cast of VIPs now includes: a cat, dog, panda, penguin, turtle, monkey, bunny, pig, butterfly, dachshund, mouse, horse, ladybug, iguana, boxer and yellow kitty. Also in February, the VIPs virtual world will expand with significant new enhancements including more games, activities and community features where girls and their VIPs can explore, nurture, exercise, shop, decorate and make new friends.

In related news, Hasbro announced that the LITTLEST PET SHOP brand will be hitting the open road this spring/summer as a sponsor of Aly & AJ’s upcoming tour. Perhaps the biggest news for girls surrounding the sponsorship is a LITTLEST PET SHOP sweepstakes that will kick off on February 2. Special codes have been placed in more than 4 million packages of the “new look” mini-dolls. Upon getting the mini-dolls home after purchase, girls can go to www.littlestpetshop.com, and punch in their code. Winners will be chosen by a random drawing from among all eligible entries received. Prizes include: five “Grand Prizes” of VIP tickets to Aly & AJ concert; 50 “First Prize” LITTLEST PET SHOP products for room makeovers; and 250 “Second Prize” pre-release LITTLEST PET SHOP product samples. All girls qualify for a downloadable LITTLEST PET SHOP series poster.
