IRVINE, Calif.--()--Gateway, Inc. today debuts its “Show Your Spots” contest open to thrill-seeking technology lovers willing to perform and film a crazy stunt to win Gateway’s flagship gaming system.

The prize consists of the Gateway® FX540XT, a blazing-fast desktop PC and the Gateway XHD3000, a 30-inch high-definition monitor and world’s first “Quad-HD” display. Combined, it’s a no-compromise system that will satisfy even the most hardcore gamers and is valued at more than $5,000.

Interested participants just need go to Gateway’s contest website, www.Gateway.com/showyourspots, to review the complete contest submission requirements and official rules. Contestants have until March 31, 2008 to submit a three-minute video to http://youtube.com/group/showyourspots showcasing an outrageous, funny or daring thing they will do to win Gateway’s top-of-the-line gaming system and display. In order to be eligible, a genuine or fake Holstein cow, which may be included by photo, must be incorporated into the video.
Contestants may submit multiple entries. At the end of the submission period, all entries will be judged by a panel of Gateway employees. Judging will be based on humor, creativity, average of the daily number of video views reported by YouTube and level of daringness.
