Business As Usual at MAXjet

MAXjet Continues to Drive the Best Value in Air Travel

WASHINGTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--MAXjet Airways, the award-winning low-fare all-business-class airline, confirms that it is operating all flights and has no plans to change its schedule.

In November and December to date, the airline has completed 100% of its scheduled flights with an impressive 82% on-time performance. MAXjet’s system-wide load factors and fleet expansion lead the sector.

MAXjet offers 34 non-stop flights per week to and from London Stansted and the US:

  • New York JFK. Flights depart London at 1430 (1045 on Saturdays). Flights from New York depart at 2015 seven days a week.
  • Las Vegas LAS. Flights depart London at 1100 (Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays) and 1300 (Mondays and Thursdays).
  • Los Angeles LAX. Flights depart London at 0945 (Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays. MAXjet operates selected Wednesdays during December and January). Flights from Los Angeles depart at 1700 (Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays).

See maxjet.com for the detailed schedule.

“We thank our customers for their loyalty. Our advance bookings remain strong and our flight performance has been stellar. MAXjet customers know great value when they see it, and our Business Class offers a unique combination of comfort and price. We look forward to serving our customers during the busy Christmas season, in 2008 and beyond,” said Bill Stockbridge, MAXjet CEO and President.

MAXjet introduced low-fare all-business-class service between New York and London Stansted in November 2005. The airline introduced service from London Stansted to Las Vegas in November 2006 and Los Angeles in August 2007.

MAXjet was ranked the #2 international airline by Travel & Leisure magazine in its 2007 survey, ahead of more than 300 other international airlines. MAXjet ranked second to Singapore Airlines and ahead of Emirates, Cathay Pacific Airlines, and Virgin Atlantic Airways based on cabin comfort, food, in-flight service, customer service and value. No other all-business-class airline appeared in the top 10. MAXjet was the highest-rated U.S. airline overall. MAXjet was also the only low-fare carrier and the only U.S.-based carrier to rank in the international Top 10.

In Zagat’s International Airline Survey (2007) MAXjet’s 82 cumulative points ranked higher than Emirates, Virgin Atlantic, Cathay Pacific, All Nippon Airlines and Air New Zealand. MAXjet was the only all-business-class airline to receive sufficient votes to merit a “reliable” ranking.

MAXjet offers fast check-in, spacious airside departure lounges, well-padded deep-recline leather seats with 60” pitch, gourmet four-course meals, on-demand entertainment and an Arrive and Refresh product complete with complimentary hot showers and sauna/steam room upon landing in London, for the price of a flexible Economy Class fare.
