Outsource Your Daily Chores with DoMyStuff.com

BEVERLY HILLS, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--DoMyStuff.com, a revolutionary new website where busy people outsource their daily tasks, launched last month, and already the notion of having more free time or more money has resonated with thousands. In recent weeks, articles looking at DoMyStuff.com’s unique approach have appeared on Entrepreneur.com, MSNBC.com, Fox TV, National Public Radio, ArsTechnica.com and LifeHacker.com. With about 600 new users signing up every day, DoMyStuff.com is growing at a phenomenal rate.

At DoMyStuff.com, anyone can "outsource their life." Assistants bid to do tasks located near them, like grocery shopping, visiting the cleaners, or painting a fence. Assistants bid the amount they are willing to perform the task for, and the user who posted the task (the “Employer”) selects an Assistant to perform the task.

The bidding system creates a market, much like eBay.com, except in this case, driving the price for services down. The employer can verify a bidder’s technical expertise (like a contractor’s license) for professional work, and can see an extensive history for the bidder.

Posting and bidding for tasks are free. A 7-10% charge is taken out of the winning bid’s award once the task is satisfactorily completed. Unlike other bidding sites, all transactions are safe for both employer and bidder using DoMyStuff.com’s unique escrow service.

DoMyStuff.com achieved its most active day yet on May 10th, 2007 with over 1,000 registered users. Stacy Stubblefield, President of DoMyStuff.com, says, “The most exciting aspect of going live with DoMyStuff.com has been to witness the users really taking ownership of the site and defining what they want DoMyStuff.com to be. This is more than we ever could have hoped for -- it’s amazing, the response we’ve gotten from thousands of people virtually overnight, is making DoMyStuff.com a reflection of its community.”

The fact that DoMyStuff.com is spreading virally is a testament to the absolute need for a community like DoMyStuff.com, servicing a growing community task by task. If someone needs more time or more money, DoMyStuff.com is the place for them.
