Edelman Selected as Global PR Agency of Record to Share the Message of The Secret with Worldwide Audiences

LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Edelman, the world’s largest independent public relations firm, announced today it has been chosen to serve as the global agency of record to represent the widely celebrated film and book The Secret (http://thesecret.tv/). As awareness of The Secret continues to expand, Edelman will guide an international communications program, including the facilitation of global media relations associated with The Secret book, audio book and DVDs in the U.S., as well as introductions made in new markets around the world.

To support The Secret's creator’s stated vision of sharing “joy with billions,” Edelman will draw on its position as an industry leader to increase global awareness for The Secret. The best-selling book has 5.27 million copies in print, and The Secret DVD, launched in March 2006, currently has more than 2 million copies in circulation.

The relationship will be managed primarily from Edelman’s Los Angeles office and expects to include ongoing collaboration with the firm’s global offices in the United Kingdom, France, Mexico, Japan, China, Australia, Brazil and Germany, among others.
