FT. WORTH, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The Oracle of Omaha did more than orate at the 2007 Berkshire-Hathaway Annual Shareholders Meeting in Omaha this Saturday. Singing “Red River Valley” with the Lone Star State's Quebe Sisters Band at the Justin Brands booth, Warren Buffett proved his moxie extends beyond the boardroom.
In addition to the live music, Justin Brands trucked in live Texas longhorn steers, courtesy of Lonesome Longhorns, to welcome the shareholders to the meeting. Mr. Buffett so enjoyed the display he conducted all his press interviews directly in front of the longhorns. “Everyone has come to expect the unexpected from the ‘guys from Texas’ and it’s always a fun challenge to come up with a new surprise to draw the crowds to our exhibit,” said Randy Watson, president and CEO of Justin Brands, Inc. “We really enjoy coming every year and we’re proud to be a part of the Berkshire Hathaway family of companies.”
Beyond the annual pilgrimage to Omaha, Justin Brands stands tall throughout the year in its dedication to developing innovative footwear for loyal western, equine and workwear consumers.
