ANTONY, France--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The One® Corneal Vacuum Punch features an advanced design offering the surgeon new levels of accuracy, safety, and ease-of-use in DSAEK and penetrating keratoplasty. This disposable, ultra-sharp razor trephine produces perfect, straight-walled cuts. An elegant two-piece device with a pre-loaded, recessed blade, the punch is very easy to set up and is packaged sterile for single use in sizes from 8.00 to 9.00mm.
Ogawa Inserting Forceps allows the DSAEK surgeon to gently cradle donor lamella during insertion and easily release the tissue within the eye. This ergonomic new forceps avoids compression along the fold and can be used both right- and left-handed.
The DSAEK Busin Glide Spatula and Forceps are the first instruments designed especially for the “dragging” technique in DSAEK. They facilitate centration and unfolding of the donor graft in the anterior chamber. Their use minimizes manipulation of the graft in the chamber and thus reduces the risk of endothelial cell damage.
Moria has been a driving force in the adoption of DSAEK, and the vast majority of DSAEK procedures worldwide are performed with the Moria system. Moria has also been at the forefront in the development, manufacturing, and distribution of disposable products for refractive surgery. The One® Corneal Vacuum Punch is the company’s first step to apply this expertise to corneal transplant surgery.
